Dolan's Dugout Discussions (Bif's Bullpen)

Dolan’s Dugout Discussions will cover sports from the pee wees to the preps to the pros.  We are on top of the sports world as it impacts people from the Little Leagues of Alpine to the Major Leagues of baseball, football and other sports.  Our goal is to bring you guests who can provide the top insights on what is happening in sports, no matter what level is involved.

Biography

Steve is an East County native.  He has covered sports for numerous media outlets including the Los Angeles Times, Daily Californian, KOGO Radio and Copley News Service.  He is currently a communications specialist for San Diego State University's College of Extended Studies.  In his spare time he serves as a statistician for visiting Major League Baseball teams in San Diego, a correspondent for Sirius Radio during the NFL season, and a statistician for local prep football and college basketball on Channel 4 San Diego.

His sports writing career began as a senior in high school when he covered the El Capitan football team for the Back Country Trader in Lakeside. He’s covered preps for the Daily Californian, the Padres and Chargers for the Los Angeles Times and a variety of other sports during his career.

Steve graduated from SDSU with a major in journalism and minor in public relations.  He recently won a national first-place award from the University Professional & Continuing Education Association in the promotion/publicity category.
